Ray and Janet Gurtner of West Bend have purchased Gib's Market at Unity (Clark
Co., Wis.) from Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft.
They will take over the business December 15, 1970. Some remodeling is planned,
and they hope to have the store open for business by January 1, 1971.
Mr. Gurtner was a manager of the meat department at a Red Owl store at Brown
Deer for eight years. He is a meat cutter by trade and also has experience
making sausage and pizza.
Mrs. Gurtner also worked in the meat department of a food store.
They have one son, three years of age.
