Roohr, William (25 DEC 1908 – 2 DEC 1970)

Word has been received here of the death of William Roohr, 62, who died December 2, 1970 at his home at 1597 Coker Butte Road, Medford, Oregon.

Mr. Roohr was born in Clark County, Wisconsin on December 25, 1908. His marriage took place at Colby on June 5, 1940 to the former Catherine France of Colby, who survives him.

They lived in the Colby and Loyal areas before moving to Oregon. For the past 18 years he has been employed at a veneer mill at Medford, Oregon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David, and da daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Joanne) Hargis of Medford, Oregon, and four grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Witte and Mrs. Lawrence (Gertrude) Neuman of Unity, and Mrs. Paul (Beverly) Hein of Owen, and a brother, Adam, of Greenwood.
