Albert Weix will officially open a shoe repair shop in Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) in early January.

The shop will be located in the rear of the old telephone building. Mr. Weix is now awaiting the rest of his supplies. He has completed his training under a government program at Medford, enabling him to fit and repair orthopedic shoes.

His shop will also offer repair work on canvas, replacement of zippers and general shoe repair. He will also deal in Mason's shoes, available on order only.

Entrance to his shop is at the rear of the telephone building, in the alley.

Due to illness, Mr. Weix is semi-retired from farming, but will continue to supervise his farm.

He is now open for business from 8:30 to 4:30 daily, except Sundays.
