Justman, Emma J. (4 JUL 1896 – 19 DEC 1970)
Mrs. Roy Justman, 74, Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), died at her home of an apparent
heart attack Saturday afternoon, December 19, 1970.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Unity. The Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated, and burial was made in the parish
cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Siikarla, Dale Schneider, Erral Hug, Steve Justman, Leo
Bloom and Ansel Messer.
The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of arrangements.
The former Emma Jane Johnson was born July 4, 1896 in the town of Unity (Clark
Co.). She received her education in Unity schools.
Her marriage took place at Colby October 29, 1914, to Roy Justman, who survives
her. They operated a farm near Unity until 1947, when they moved into the
village.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Merlin, of Unity, four grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren. There is also a brother, Carl Johnson of Colby,
and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Hilda) Justman of Unity, and Mrs. Elsie Domer of
Oshkosh.
She was preceded in death by two sons and a sister.
