Throughout her years at Thorp High School, Courtney Frankewicz learned several
things, including hard work, dedication and responsibility. One of the most
important things for Courtney has always been grades. "No matter what, they
always came before the countless extra curriculars I was involved in."
Despite the stringent focus on grades, Courtney has been a part of many clubs
and organizations throughout her four years at Thorp High School, including:
FFA, Student Council, FBLA, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Mathletes,
Volleyball, Softball Statistician, Baseball Statistician, Youth Apprenticeship,
OW Sportsmans Club Archery League, and THS Enterprise. "Student council was an
extra curricular that changed me as a person," Courtney said. "It got me out of
my comfort zone and allowed me to speak in front of large crowds, and plan
events for the whole school and community to enjoy."
After graduation, Courtney will attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville,
where she will study Pre-Dental with a major in chemistry. From there, she plans
to continue her education to become a dentist and then an orthodontist.
Her biggest life goal is to live a life of happiness, and to make life enjoyable
for those around her. She wants to be successful so that she can support her
future family the way her family supports her.
In five years she still plans to be going to college, most likely pursuing her
doctorate in Dentistry.

One of the most important things that Falon learned during her time at
Thorp-High School was time management, which she believes Will be a valuable
lesson moving forward with her life. It has already helped her balance her time
between farm work, sports, and homework. "I enjoy challenges and to better
prepare myself for college, I took several college courses."
Her time management skills have helped her to enjoy a varied set of
extracurricular activities, including: Cross Country, Track, Student Council,
Ski Club, NHS, and FFA. On top of that, she loves volunteering and bringing
happiness to other people. Some of her most memorable experiences include
running at state for cross country and track. "I had the opportunity to run
against some of the best runners in the state. I knew that if I wanted to get to
state it was going to be a challenge."
Upon graduating, Falon will be attending UW Stevens Point to pursue a degree in
nursing. She wants to help care for those in need and to make sure she always
has a positive impact on those she meets.
Her life goal above all else is to be happy in her life, to love what she does,
and to be the best friend that she can be.
In five years she wants to be living close to home while working in her new
career as a nurse.

Cora Luzinski, the 2019 graduating class Salutatorian, holds dear to a lesson
she learned from Mrs. Rhyner: "It takes all kinds. If everyone was the same,
life would be boring." That message is important to
Cora, as it means that it is ok to be different. Throughout life would be
completely boring and flat," Cora said.
In her four years in the Thorp High School, Cora has been a part of many clubs
and organizations, including: Spanish Club, Student Council, Choir, Archery, NHS,
Drama, Forensics, Mathletes, Mock Trial, Solo & Ensemble, Dorian Music Festival,
and All Conference Honor Choir. Her favorite part of these experiences is the
State level trips where all of the participants pile into one room and talk and
share snacks together.
After graduation, Cora will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College
of Agriculture and Life Sciences to study genomics. After receiving her
bachelor's degree, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. Once she has her Ph.D. she wants
to be a research geneticist and research genetic disorders.
Her biggest life goal is to one day cure a genetic disorder through her work.

obtain her Ph.D.

Cassidy Stroinski has learned a lot from her time as a student in the Thorp High
School, but she credits some of her greatest lessons to softball coach Kurt
Rhyner, who taught her many things, but what sticks out the most is, "Control
what you can control." Coach Rhyner would preach this to them when the weather
stood in the way of their early practices, a lesson that worked well for
softball, but can transition equally well into her life moving forward.
Besides softball, Cassidy also took part in Basketball, Volleyball, Spanish
Club, Student Council, Mathletes, and the NHS. Above all, the trips to the
softball state tournament her freshman and junior years stand out as valuable
experiences.
Her biggest life goal is to use her experience with Type 1 Diabetes to help
others. She wants to take what is a al negative part of her life, and turn it
into a positive. "I at believe that I can help a lot of people and I want to
bring the feeling of community into my job."
In five years she hopes to be close to finishing school and starting her career.

The Class of 2019 Valedictorian, Angie Verges, has learned through her years at
Thorp High School that you have to work hard for what you want. You must refuse
to give up or lower your level of effort, and she also attributes her success to
having a strong support system of family, friends, and teachers.
Angie has been a part of many extracurricular activities, including: Choir,
Band, NHS, Drama, Softball, Student Council, Forensics, Mathletes, Quiz Bowl,
and more. Throughout her experiences have been some significant high points,
including going to the 2018 State Softball Tournament, and singing with the
State Honors Treble Choir last fall. Beyond that, Angie met her best friends
through her extra curriculars, and she couldn't ask for better teammates, cast
members, or band and choir members to have spent her high school years with.
After graduating, she will be attending St. Olaf College in Northfield,
Minnesota to study nursing. She also hopes to stay involved with choir.
For the future, her goals include getting married and having a family, finding
success in her nursing career, and traveling around the world.
While she does not know where she will be in five years, she hopes to have
graduated from her program and begun her career as a registered nurse; but above
all, she hopes to be happy.

For Ellie Windl, her time at Thorp High School "flew by." Many great teachers
have helped her to learn new things every day, especially in her hands-on lab
experiences. She is also already looking back on all the fun she has had with
friends throughout her years in Thorp.
Ellie has been involved in many school activities, including: Softball, Cross
Country, Basketball, FFA, Student Council, NHS, FBLA, and she held a class
officer position for three of her four high school years.

sports teams would be her favorite. She mentioned the ability to make it to
state twice in her softball career as a major accomplishment. "Being able to say
we brought home a trophy both times is pretty awesome."
After graduation, Ellie will be attending the University of
Wisconsin-Platteville to pursue a degree in Forensic Investigation. She intends
to work in a forensic laboratory as a forensic scientist. She wants to use this
