Mr. and Mrs. Bernard H. Polzin of Route 2, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the engagement of their daughter, Esther Irene of Marshfield, to Donald D. Westerhausen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Westerhausen of route 5, Marshfield.

A 1969 graduate of Abbotsford High School, Esther has been employed at Figi's Incorporated in Marshfield. Her fiancé, a 1966 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, has completed four years in the Air force.

Wedding plans are indefinite.
