Jordon, Rosemarie Catherine (2 JAN 1971)

Miss Rosemarie Catherine Jordon, Denver, Colorado, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jordon, Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Glen Rahn Jackel of Thornton, Colorado, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Jackel, deceased, LaGrange, Illinois, on January 2, 1971.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Vincent Leo Smith at 1 p.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a karate, full length gown with train trimmed with lace of appliqued roses at the neck, bodice and hem of the dress and train. The sleeves were full and gathered into a fitted cuff at the wrist. The fingertip veil fell from a tiara of white catalaga orchid with white sweetheart roses and variegated ivy.

The matron of honor, Mrs. James Greenwald, Western Springs, Illinois, wore a full length dress of moss green karate with full sleeves. It was trimmed with gold embroidered ribbon at the neck. She carried a hand bouquet of yellow sweetheart roses and white pompon mums.

Carl Zing, Thornton, Colorado, was the best man, and Robert Starr was the organist.

A reception was held from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a dinner for the bridal party and parents at the Hungry Dutchman restaurant.

The new Mrs. Jackel is attending the University of Colorado. The groom graduated from Lyons Township Junior College, LaGrange, and attended Southern Illinois University. He is presently employed as a camera salesman.

After a wedding trip through the southwest, they will be residing in Denver.
