Susan Mahoney of Stout State University, Menomonie, and Brian Mahoney, WSU, Eau
Claire, spent the weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.J.
Mahoney Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Turner and daughters, Char Ann and Kimberly, are enjoying a
10-day vacation here at the G.R. Scharer home, and helping ‘Doc’ cut Christmas
trees on his tree farm near Rib Lake. Also here at the Scharer home were Mr. and
Mrs. Galen Scharer of Davenport, Iowa, and a pleasant weekend was enjoyed at the
Scharer cottage at Rib Lake.
Barbara Lehnen was among the students who enrolled in full time programs at
Madison Area Technical College this fall. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Lehnen and is enrolled in the Animal Technician program.
Those relatives who came for the funeral of Mrs. Ben Bruchert were Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Hovland, Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Bacon of Flint, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cattanach and family of Marshfield were Sunday dinner guests at
the home of his mother, Mrs. L.W. Cattanach.
