Rachel Hill, student at WSU, River Falls, is one of 18 students now in Europe on
a study program. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Hill of Route 2,
Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). While in Europe Miss Hill is studying the problems of
the unwed mother in Finland. Miss Hill is the first Quarter Abroad participant
to do independent research in Finland.
The Quarter Abroad Program, now in its 10th years, is the oldest continuing
foreign study opportunity offered by the University. This fall 18 students are
combining independent research with European travel for 12 weeks.
