Keefer, Mary Jo (Marriage – 23 August 1975)
Marriage vows were pledged Saturday, August 23, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church,
Chippewa Falls, by Miss Mary Jo Keefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Keefer
of Chippewa Falls, and Dan Hanson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hanson of Granton.
A reception was held at Bresina’s Country Villa, Tilden.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride approached the alter in a
traditional white gown fashioned with short sleeves, an empire waistline and
lace bodice. The skirt flowed into a lace-edged chapel train. Her fingertip
length veil was held by a face bandeau headpiece. An arrangement of
multi-colored tea roses with baby’s breath formed her bouquet.
Honor attendants were Mrs. Delon Schroetter, St. Paul, Mn., and Douglas Zaleski,
Granton.
The groom was also attended by Dennis Hill of Neillsville, Allen Imberry of
Minneapolis and Bruce Hanson of Granton. Guests were seated by Delon Schroetter
and Alan Hanson.
The new Mrs. Hanson graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and her husband
graduated from Granton High School. Both are graduates of District One Technical
Institute, Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Hanson will live in St. Paul where she is employed as a secretary
and he works in data processing.
