Thibert, Agnes Edna (22 FEB 1884 – 2 NOV 1974)

Final rites for Mrs. Agnes Edna Thibert, 90, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted at 10:30 Tuesday morning, November 5, 1974 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. Father George Becker officiated, and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Mrs. Thibert passed away at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 1974 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

The former Agnes Edna Hebert was born February 22, 1884 at Boyd, and was married in 1899 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp (Clark Co.) to Archie Thibert, who preceded her in death October 4, 1958. The couple farmed in the town of Hixon until 1969, when she moved to the village of Withee.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Ladies Altar Society.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Lucy Thibert, Withee, Mrs. Luella McElroy, San Gabriel, California, and Mrs. Bernard (Lorraine) Barrett of Campbell, California, and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son and three sisters.
