Augustine, Betty (8 AUG 1925 – 17 NOV 1974)
Mrs. Delmer (Betty) Augustine of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 11:51 a.m.
Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she has been a patient since
November 7, 1974. She was 49 years of age.
Service were held at 2 o'clock yesterday, Wednesday, November 20, at St. Paul's
American Lutheran Church in Curtiss, with Rev. Roger Tellock being in charge of
the service. Burial was made in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, town of Colby.
The former Betty Luedtke was born August 8, 1925 at Wausau and attended the
Wausau, Marathon and Neillsville schools. After her marriage to Delmer Augustine
on November 30, 1946, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, town of Green Grove, the
couple lived at Wausau for five years, and then moved to Clark County, where Mr.
Augustine was a cheesemaker.
In 1952 they came to Curtiss. For 12 years she was a cook in the lunch program
in the Abbotsford School District.
She was a member of St. Paul's American Lutheran Church, Curtiss, and it’s
A.L.C.W.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Judith)
Christophersen, Wausau, Mrs. James (Donna) Rasmussen, Withee, and Karen, at
home, and a sister, Mrs. Herb Uttech, Dickinson, North Dakota.
