Mr. and Mrs. Mike Flynn of Stanley were home for Christmas at the Martin Carlson
home. Mrs. Marlene Flynn teaches in the Stanley-Boyd School System. Also home
for Christmas were Carol and her husband from Minnesota.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kitze of Rhinelander arrived Sunday and will remain for the
holidays at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kitze, city (Owen,
Clark Co., Wis.), as well as at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Rabska, Withee (Clark Co.). Also home for Christmas at the Kitze home is their
daughter, Margaret, who teaches in River Falls.
Peter and Tom Mauel of WSU, Eau Claire, and Carol of WSU, La Crosse, arrived
this past weekend to enjoy the holiday season at the home of their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. H.B. Mauel Jr. and family.
Don Mathewson was a business caller in the city Thursday and Friday, and also
visited the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Kenneth Mathewson, and with his
sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Celand Melbinger.
Wednesday afternoon of last week Adolph Czeshinski returned home from St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been admitted the day previous for
emergency treatment of a gall stone attack.
