Polly Daines was dismissed Wednesday of last week from St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield, where she had been confined since January 6th, 1975 as a surgical
patient.
Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Leonard and son Robert of Batesville, Arkansas arrived
Sunday, January 5, 1975 for a week's visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byrl
Rowe. They were met at the Minneapolis airport by Larry Rowe, Ed Rowe and friend
Coleen Plautz. Also home for the week from Stout was Bill Rowe. Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard were unable to fly out of Minneapolis due to the snow, and were finally
able to leave from Mosinee for their return to Little Rock on the 3rd of the
month.
Mrs. Jean Brown of Soledad, California is here visiting the Warren Brown family
at Withee. Jean is a former Owen resident and observes that the snow is still
white and cold.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson of Highwood Park, Illinois, and Mrs. Mary Reinertson
spent several days last week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zudonyi at
Jim Falls.
Mrs. Faustin LaLonde and her granddaughter, Mrs. David Horan, were in Rib Lake
to attend the funeral of Mrs. Ara Lee Warner, an old friend.
