On Saturday, January 25, 1975, the Rev. Robert Sullivan performed the evening candlelight service for Miss Leslie Jane Ruggles and David Allen Hilton in Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ruggles Sr., Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hilton, also of Withee, are parents of the bridegroom. Nuptial music for the 7:30 p.m. rite was provided by Miss Bethany Andreasen, organist, and Miss Diane Johnson, soloist. The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

As she approached the altar, the bride was seen in a white velvet gown and a velvet trimmed headpiece, which secured the veil. She carried a Bible with a long white stephanotis as her bouquet.

Miss Petty Nosko, Owen, maid of honor, wore a dark green velvet gown with a dark green circlet with a sheer bown on her head. She carried a nosegay of white stephanotis and carnations.

Nyle Hilton, Withee, performed the duties of best man. Pall Ruggles, Withee, and Robert Ruggles Jr., Owen, shared the ushering duties.

A reception was held at the parish hall after the ceremony.

The couple will reside in Owen (Clark Co.).
