Nikolay, Helen (26 OCT 1926 – 13 DEC 2019)
Helen Nikolay, 93, of Abbotsford, died peacefully with her family by her side on
early Friday morning, Dec. 13, 2019.
She was born Oct. 26, 1926, to Wallace and Mildred Dravis in Prescott.
She was active in the community serving on the Cancer Society Board and was
instrumental starting and continuing the Abbotsford Christmas Parade.
She is well loved by many and famous for her desserts, especially her chocolate
chip cookies.
Helen is survived by two sons: Paul (Karen) Nikolay and David (Nancy) Nikolay;
two daughters: Sharol (William) Lehnertz and Kitty Nikolay; and one son-in-law,
John Kelley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren;
and one loving, affectionate cat, Molly. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; a son, James (Nik) Nikolay; two
daughters: Mary Kelley and Katherine (Kate) Nikolay.
