Paskert, Larry M. (13 NOV 1944 – 9 DEC 2019)

Larry Martin Paskert, 75, of Thorp WI, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Larry was born November 13, 1944, in LeMars, Iowa to the late Lorence and Agnes (Krogman) Paskert.

He moved his family to Wisconsin in 1976 from Northwest Iowa. His greatest loves were Registered Holsteins and Purebred German Shepherds. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed watching college football and basketball. He also enjoyed listening to old country music and taking his grandchildren on four-wheeler rides around the farm. Larry always said his job was "driving Miss Daisy" as he and Paula traveled around the area for their appraisal business.

Larry is survived by his wife, Paula; son, Tony (Julie) Paskert; daughter, Melissa Paskert; stepson, Troy Vetterkind; stepdaughter, Melissa Vetterkind; grandchildren: Akstin, Aeysha, Adalya, and Axel Paskert, along with Jorjanna, Jocelin, and Jasmin Paskert; and step- randson, Liam Overington.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Janet; his son, Quincy Paskert; brother, Gary Paskert; and sister, Carol Jean Rolfes.

A Mass of celebration for Larry's life will be held on Friday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Parish located at 109 N Church St, Thorp WI, 54771. Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. and run until the time of service. The mass will be officiated by Father Baskaran Sandhiyagu.
