Locals Donate 77 Trees for Troops (2019)
Three local Christmas Tree sellers recently joined together in spreading some holiday cheer. Steve Knoop (l) of R & S Tree Farms, Paul Vine (r) of Vine’s Christmas Trees LLC and Tim Kopp (not pictured) of Kopp Forest Products donated a total of 77 trees for Troops, an organization that provides Christmas trees for military families. The trees were transported to Legion Post 10 in Wausau to be distributed to military bases throughout the country, with the Neillsville and Granton trees expected to go to Texas.
