Jack Barager was one of the 4,200 seniors graduated from the University of
Wisconsin in Madison Saturday forenoon, May 17th, 1975.
Jack, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Barager, city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.),
received his Bachelor of Science degree in soil science, and specialized in turf
management. The exercise was witnessed by his parents and two sisters, Jean of
Green Bay and Barbara of Madison. That evening Jack was honored at a dinner
party held at Rhode's. Sunday he left for Milwaukee where he attended the open
house for former patients of the Burn Center at St. Mary's Hospital and hosted
several of his friends from the hospital at a dinner party that evening. Monday
he arrived in Owen and will remain here until Friday, when he intends to drive
to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has accepted a position as assistant
superintendent at the Balo Country Club. Bob Bishop, a close friend of Jack's,
is superintendent of the Club.
