Sheriff’s Dept. Given K9 Donation (2020)
The Adler-Clark Community Commitment Foundation recently donated $2.500 to the
Clark County Sheriff’s Office K9 replacement fund. Shown are (l-r) sheriff’s
deputy Brian Rennie with Kamp, Clark Electric CEO and general manager Tim
Stewart and Sergeant Matthew Prein with K9 Rex. “Our K9s are aging and will soon
need to be replaced; with an estimated replacement cost of $65,000 per dog we
appreciate the help from the foundation,” a Facebook post from the sheriff’s
office stated. The K9 fund is one of 24 community initiatives in the Clark
Electric Cooperative service area that received funding through the foundation.
