A wedding trip to Florida followed the July 19, `975 wedding of Miss Margaret
Jean Marcell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marcell, 1810 Sixth Street,
Wausau, and Keith Warren Weller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Weller, Owen.
The Rev. Thomas Abraham performed the 2:30 p.m. rite at St. Michael’s Catholic
Church, Wausau. Nuptial music was provided by Roger Scheffler, organist, and Sue
Peterman and Chuck Franklin, guitarists, vocalists.
A reception, dinner and dance followed at the Elks Club, Wausau.
For her day, the bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, chose a white
lace floor length gown with a train and cathedral length veil with matching
lace. She carried a bouquet of blue and red roses, white carnations,
stephanotis, and blue starburst.
Her maid of honor, Miss Jamie Belott, and bridesmaids, Miss Cathy Stienke and
Miss Mary Jo Fachling, all of Wausau, ore blue knit halter dresses with matching
long capes. They carried white baskets of blue starturst, white mums and blue
daisies.
The flower girl was Miss Pattie Davis, and ring bearer was Chris Davis.
The duties of best man were performed by Mike Weller, Madison. Groomsmen were
John Bohte and Bab Marcell, both of Wausau. Guests were ushered by Larry Thomas,
Wausau, and Gary Marcell, Schofield.
The bride graduated in 1972 from Newman High School, and in 1974 from North
Central Technical Institute, Wausau. She is employed as a cashier at Hal’s Red
Owl in Wausau. The groom is warehouse and stock control supervisor at North Land
Carpets, Inc. He graduated in 1967 from Abbotsford High school, and also
attended North Central Technical Institute in 1968.
Upon their return from Florida, they will make their home at 804 Scott Street,
Wausau.
The wedding was a double ceremony with Miss Patricia Marcell, sister of the
bride, being married to Craig Fyrk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fyrk, 707
Military Road, Rothschild.
