Wagner, Albert “Boots” (14 OCT 1902 – 21 JUL 1975)
Albert “Boots” Wagner, 72-year-old town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.) native,
died Monday, July 21, 1975 of an apparent heart attack at his home.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,
Curtiss, with Rev. Roger Tellock officiating. Interment took place in Pine Hill
Cemetery, rural Curtiss.
Mr. Wagner was born October 14, 1902 in the town of Mayville and received his
education in the Brady School His marriage to Julia Machkovitz took place June
8, 1925 at Rockford, Illinois.
He farmed in the town of Mayville until 1962 and was employed from 1951 to 1965
by the former Dorchester Furniture Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Janet, Mrs. Clifford
Williams, Owen, and Sharon, Mrs. James Geiger, Dorchester; two sons, Duane and
Lloyd, both of Milwaukee; a brother, William Atwater, Minnesota; a sister, Mrs.
Bertha Fritsche, Curtiss, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Three daughters and a brother preceded him in death.
