Mrs. Lydia Alexander, Shafter, California, arrived at the Louis Burhop home
August 6th to visit her brother and family, and to spend some time with him at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Other visitors on Saturday of last week were
his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sieber, Hartford, and his sister, Mr. and Mrs.
G. Gollart of Stanley.
Monday of last week Elizabeth rose, seven-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat
Rose, rural Owen, was hospitalized at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, and
confined a week for treatment of a stomach infection.
Polly Daines returned to the city Friday evening, after having enjoyed a week's
vacation visiting relatives in Marshfield, and with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Speich and family at Greenwood.
Friday of this week, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Beck will enplane for the Twin Cities for
Billings, Montana, where they will visit their son, Rev. and Mrs. Duane Morschek
and family, as well as attend the wedding of their granddaughter, Mary Morschek,
on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Riber terminated a pleasant nine day vacation trip Sunday
night when they returned from Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they had joined
their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Niemi Jr., and son Michael, for
a five day visit.
