College Notes (Honors – Fall Semester 2019)
Two local students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater dean’s
list for the 2019 fall semester. Rebecca Anason of Neillsville and Cameron
Scholze of Humbird both made the list.
The students demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade-point
average (GPA) of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
The registrar’s office reported that 3,755 students were selected for the dean’s
list for the fall semester.

Chippewa Valley Technical College has announced that the following students have
been named to the president’s list for the fall 2019 semester. To be eligible,
students must complete a minimum of six credits with a semester GPA of 3.5 or
higher.

GPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.

The UW-La Crosse has announced students named to the dean’s list for the fall
semester of the 2019-20 academic year, ending December 2019.
“Qualification for the dean’s list is limited to students who have attained
outstanding academic achievement,” a press release from the university stated.
To be eligible, students must have earned not less that a 3.5 semester GPA and
carried a minimum of 12 credits.

applicable.
