College Notes (Honors – Fall Semester 2019)

Two local students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater dean’s list for the 2019 fall semester. Rebecca Anason of Neillsville and Cameron Scholze of Humbird both made the list.

The students demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.4 or above in a single semester.

The registrar’s office reported that 3,755 students were selected for the dean’s list for the fall semester.

Toi be named to the dean’s list, a full-time undergraduate student must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.

The UW-La Crosse has announced students named to the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year, ending December 2019.

“Qualification for the dean’s list is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement,” a press release from the university stated.

To be eligible, students must have earned not less that a 3.5 semester GPA and carried a minimum of 12 credits.
