Mandel, Ann (21 JUN 1910 – 29 SEP 1975)
Services for Ann Mandel, 65, of Boy, formerly of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were
held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Boyd. Mrs. Mandel died
Tuesday morning at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.
The Rev. Edwin Becker officiated. Burial was made September 30, 1975 in the
Edson Union Cemetery.
The former Ann Klessig was born June 21, 1910 at owen, where she attended
school. She was married to Leo Mandel on April 21, 1929 at Waukegan, Illinois.
The couple lived in the Owen area until 1940, when they moved to Boyd. She
operated a dress shop in Stanley for five years.
Mrs. Mandel was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Boyd.
Survivors include a son, Duane, Watertown; four sisters, Mrs. Celia Johnson,
Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Walter Hintz, Milwaukee, Mrs. Irene Myhre, eau Claire, and
Mrs. Eleanor Molley, Spencer; a brother, Norman Klessig, Phonix, Arizona, and
two grandchildren
