James Hannan, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was the recipient of the Northern States
Power Company Premier Dairyman Award for the Clark County outstanding dairyman
of 1975. The presentation of the trophy was made by Robert Cattanach, NSP's
Neillsville District Superintendent.
The selection of Hannan for the award was based on official Dairy Herd
Improvement Association (DHIA) records for the last three years.
A.D. Dopp, County Agricultural Agent, announced that Hannan's record of an
average annual production of 18, 870 pounds and milk, and 629 pounds of
butterfat were the highest achieved in the Clark County DHIA program for this
period.
Northern States Power Company, in cooperation with the DHIA, presents this
annual award in each of the 15 counties which it serves.
