Jablonic, Thomas J. (18 SEP 1908 – 19 OCT 1975)
Thomas J. Jablonic, 67, Route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died Wednesday, October
19, 1975 at 2 p.m. at the Colonial House of Colby.
Private memorial services were held following cremation, which took place Friday
at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Madison.
The Kraut-Maurina Funeral Services of Owen was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jablonic was born September 18, 1908 at Chicago and attended the Lane
Technical Institute in Chicago and North Chicago Public Schools. He worked at
Johns-Mansville, an American Steel and Wire Corp. in Chicago before moving to
Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1943. He farmed there until 1946, when he moved to a
farm in the Town of Green Grove (Clark Co.). He also worked for the Frederick
Post Company of Owen during the mid-1950's.
Mr. Jablonic married the former Irma Friimaki on May 11, 1933 at Waukegan,
Illinois. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Randall, Madison, and David, Pewaukee; four
sisters, Mrs. Anna Pilka, Chicago, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Waukegan, Illinois, and
Miss Caroline Jablonic and Miss Grace Jablonic, both of North Chicago; a
brother, Ed Jablonic, Curtiss, and six grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
