As of December 1, 1975, Foster Will, Allen Niemi, and Jerry Andres have acquired
control of the former Lindquist Implement Company, and will operate the firm as
Owen Implement, Incorporated.
Prior to the Lindquist ownership, the implement business was owned by Foster
Will and known as Will Implement Company, and served the area for more than 40
years. Mr. Will is a long established and respected implement dealer in the area
and his partners are too, well known and qualified. Mr. Niemi is a native of the
community and a most successful farmer, while Mr. Anders is of Eau Claire, but
has a background of valuable experience in the farm implement business. He was
associated with New Holland Company for eight years, and with Tobola Implement
Company of Cadott for six years.
The firm will continued to handle most of the recognized franchises. Will
Implement Co. was known for and are rapidly replenishing their inventory to meet
the farm needs of the community.
While the stock is low they took advantage of the situation by repainting the
store's interior with blue woodwork, white walls and ceiling, and a red floor.
