Newell Wilson entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Thursday to undergo
heart surgery.
Mr. and Mrs. Uno Kolpanen returned to their home on Friday, after having spent
the past month in Milwaukee at the home of Hans Kolpanen. Hans recently returned
from a five week stay in the hospital, following a heart attack. He also spent
five weeks previously to that in the hospital in Wausau.
Mrs. Joyce Worden returned home after a week's visit in Texas.
Visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kafka, is their son Bob, a
student at WSU, La Cross, who arrived here last Thursday and will enjoy a recess
from his studies until the 19th of January.
Sunday evening Jack Barager returned home from Evanston, Illinois, where he
attended a fraternity brother at his wedding on Saturday.
David Nelson, faculty member and head football coach at O-W was dismissed
Thursday from St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he was treated for 10
days as a medical patient.
