Decker, Florence (27 MAR 1890 – 4 MAR 1972)

Florence Louvina Decker, 81, died at her home Saturday, March 4, 1972 of natural causes. Funeral services were held at the Thorp United Methodist Church, Thorp, on Tuesday, March 7, with Rev. David Fuller officiating at the one p.m. service. Burial was made in the East thorp Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Russell Decker, Arlyn Decker Jr., Kenneth Decker, Thomas Decker, Ronald Decker, and Robert Johnson.

Florence Terrill was born March 27, 1890 in Waushara County, Wisconsin. On December 16, 1909 she was united in marriage to Hollis Laben Decker at Leon, Wisconsin. They lived in Red Granite until 1920, when they moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

Surviving are one son, Darrell, living at home; one sister, Mrs. Jim Larsson (Lelah) of Red Granite, Wisconsin; two daughter-sin-law, Mrs. Arlyn Decker of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Chester Decker of Owen; nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis and two sons, Chester and Arlyn.
