Schoenherr, Frederick W. (23 February 1919 - 25 September 1975)
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral
Home for a former Neillsville area resident, Frederick W. Schoenherr, 56, of
Marshfield, who died Thursday, September 25, at St. Joseph Hospital. The Rev.
Ralph Stuebs of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, officiated, and the interment
followed in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Frederick Schoenherr, son of Erich and Pauline (Steinberg) Schoenherr, was born
February 23, 1919, in Neillsville and was educated in local schools. He formerly
farmed in the Globe area and had worked in Marshfield for several years.
Surviving are six children, Theodore Schoenherr of Stratford, Mrs. Jay (Carol)
Dalton of Resida, Ca., Terry Schoenherr and Thomas Schoenherr of Stratford, Mrs.
Don (Diana) Churdimsky of Wausau and Fred Schoenherr of Stratford; five sisters,
Ruth Schoenherr of Owen, Mrs. Ottillie Kunkel of Neillsville, Mrs. Lewis (Lydia)
Blaney of Kenosha, Mrs. Howard (Berdina) Padrutt of Crows Plains and Mrs. George
(Pauline) Payne of Independence, Mo.; one brother, Theodore Schoenherr of
Neillsville; and eight grandchildren.

Schoenherr, Frederick W. (23 February 1919 - 25 September 1975)
Funeral services were held September 27 from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home for
Frederick W. Schoenherr, 56, of Marshfield, who died September 25 at St.
Joseph’s Hospital. The Rev. Ralph Stuebs of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glove,
officiated, and interment followed in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Theodore, Terry and Tommy Schoenherr of Stratford, Gene
Schoenherr, Ronnie Schoenherr and Marvin Schoenherr.
Edward Schoenherr sang “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “I’m But a Stranger
Here, Heaven is My Home.” Mrs. David Hoppa was the accompanist.
Among those attending the services were the following from out-of-town: Mr. and
Mrs. Theodore Schoenherr, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Schoenherr and Mr. and Mrs. Terry
Schoenherr, Stratford; Mrs. Don Churdimsky, Wausau; Ruth Schoenherr, Owen, Mr.
and Mrs. Marc Foster, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. James Foster, Hatfield.
Mr. George Payne, Independence, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blaney and Lisa,
Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Padrutt, Cross Plains; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swanson
and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Swanson, Kelly and Scott, La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. James
Rieland and sons, Menomonee Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Schoenherr and son,
Marshfield. Friends from the apartments for the handicapped in Marshfield where
Mr. Schoenherr resided, were also present.
