Buyalski, Anton (6 JAN 1898 – 17 MAR 1972)
Funeral services for Anton Buyalski, resident of Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis..),
were held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family South Catholic Church, Stanley.
Mr. Buyalski passed away Friday, March 17, 1972 at Victory Memorial Hospital,
Stanley.
He was born in Poland January 6, 1898, son of Anton and Stella Buyalski. He came
to the U.S. with his parents when an infant and they settled in the Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.) area, and then moved to Stanley, where they lived a short time. The
family then moved to Gilman. Mr. Buyalski moved back to Stanley about 40 years
ago. He served in world War II and was employed by the Stanley Company for many
years as a pattern maker. He was forced to retire due to ill health this past
fall, 1971, and had been in the hospital since.
He is survived by one brother, Barney of Berwyn, Illinois; one sister, Mrs.
Marie Brandsness of Melrose Park, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his
parents, one brother, and one sister.
Burial was made in the Meadowbrook Cemetery, Gilman. The Stanley American Legion
Post conducted military rites. The parish vigil was recited at the Plombon
Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Sunday.
