The barn on the Alvin Benzschawel farm, two miles south, 1 miles West, and 1/2
mile south of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was destroyed by fire early Wednesday
morning, April 5th, 1972. The alarm was sounded at 8:05 a.m. Although the 165x35
foot barn was completely destroyed except for part of the foundation, all cows
were save.
