Lyddia Elyse Calmes and Phillip Scott Marcott were united in marriage on Oct.
19, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Inn in Wausau. Court Commissioner Douglas
Baumann officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mark and Vicky Calmes of Colby.
Music for the ceremony was provided by her sister, Brittani Mertens.
The groom is the son of Scott and Bethany Marcott, Marathon.
Maid of honor was Lisa Horacek, Wausau. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Punke,
Wausau, and Britni Sorensen, Oak Creek.
Attendant sisters were Tiffani Roltgen, Madison, and Brittani Mertens, Colby.
Flower girls were Stella Roltgen, Madison, and Emersyn Mertens, Colby.
Best man was Caleb Jerred, San Antonio, Texas. Groomsmen were Shane Kanneberg,
Green Bay, and Patrick Baer, Madison.
Usher was Jeffrey Sorenson, Oak Creek.
The reception was held at City Grill at the Jefferson Street Inn. Music was
provided by Irish Entertainment.
The bride is a Colby native and a 2014 graduate of Colby High School. She earned
a bachelor’s degree in human biology from UW-Green Bay. She is currently working
in health care and applying to Master’s programs for pathology.
The groom is an Athens native and a 2014 graduate of Colby High School. He
earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from UW-Green Bay. He works as a quality
control chemist for MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee.
The honeymoon was a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas.
The couple lives in Jackson.
