Kolak, Joseph F. (7 MAR 1896 – 3 MAY 1972)
Joseph F. Kolak, 74, route 2, Kewaunee, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, May 3, 1972
at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1896 in the Town of Eaton (Clark Co., Wis.) to the late
Marin and Rose (Nitka) Kolak.
Survivors include two brothers, Frank J. of La Grange, Illinois, John M. of
Chicago, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Josephine) Przevozny, Mrs. Rose
Reibery, both of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph F. (Pauline) Czech of Thorp, and Mrs.
Peter (Amelia) Kolodziej of Eau Claire, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral was from Buchanen Funeral Home. Masss at 10:00 at Holy Rosary Church,
Reverend Frank Melchior officiating. Burial in S.S. Cyril and Methodius
Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews: Richard Kolak, Orville Krumdick, Frank
Piechota, and James Ewer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.
Relatives attended from Chicago, Des Plaines, La Grange, Milwaukee, Eau Claire,
Ladysmith, Wauconda, Withee, Pulaski, Green Bay, Denmark, and Thorp.
