Brenda Dallman, two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Dallman, Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.) was bitten by a skunk on Friday of last week, and reports from
Madison confirm a report that it had rabies. Little Brenda must now undergo a
series of 16 painful shots.
The Sheriff's department has reported other rabid animals found in the county.
All dog owners are urged to have their dogs given shots to prevent the spread of
the disease.
Should an animal be seen biting a person or another animal the animal should be
killed and the head turned over to the Sheriff's department so a report can be
secured on the health of the animal.
