Izydorek, Theresa A. (9 APR 1910 – 8 JUN 1972)

Theresa A. Izydorek, age 62, of Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin passed away suddenly on Thursday afternoon, June 8th, 1972 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, Wisconsin.

She was born April 9, 1910 at Thorp and grew up here. She graduated from the Thorp School System and then attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield and graduated from there. She worked at Marshfield for a time, and on August 31, 1935 she was united in marriage to Raymond V. Izydorek at Thorp. She assisted her husband in the operation of the Thorp Funeral Home for many years, until their retirement in 1969. She was a member of St. Bernard's Church and St. Elizabeth's Circle.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond V. of Thorp, one son, Donald Ray of Thorpwho now operates the Thorp Funeral Home; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Karen) Webber of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Robert (Rayleen) Cloutier of Rosemount, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Francis Rasmussen of Thorp; two brothers, John of Seattle, Washington and Richard of West Allis, Wisconsin, and one sister, Mrs. Fred (MaryAnn) Wenzel of Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp, with Father Francis Brockman officiating. Burial was made in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Thorp.

Pallbearers were: Ted Papierniak, Leo Hedler, Charles Hofkes, Hank Nowobielski, Arty Jacques, and Gay Asselin.
