Miss Linda Ruff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ruff, Boyd, became the bride of
Michael Kopacz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Kopacz, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) in
a marriage ceremony performed by Father Comisky at 12 noon at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, Boyd, on Saturday, May 20th, 1972. Sharon Etten was organist,
with Connie Miller as soloist.
Miss Kada Kopacz, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and the bridesmaids
were: Donna Mays, sister of the bride, Marcy Ruff, sister-in-law of the bride,
Kris Isaacz and Pat Ziemba, friends of the bride.
Flower girl was Kris Ciolkosz, cousin of the bride, and ring bearers were Greg
Ruff, nephew of the bride.
Rick Kuester, friends of the groom, was best man, with Tom Mays, brother-in-law
of the bride, Dick Ruff, brother of the bride, Brian Paff and Glen Seaman,
friends of the groom, as groomsmen. Ushers were: Don Laager and Tom Ruff.
A reception was held at Rainbow Gardens.
The bride attended Stanley-Boyd High School and the groom attended Thorp High
School and District I Technical Institute.
After a wedding trip to Denver, Colorado, they will reside in the Thorp Trailer
Court. The groom is a carpenter employed by Joe Lato, and the bride is with ITT
Thorp Corporation.
