John Nied, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nied, Route 3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) has
been selected to represent Wisconsin at the National Youth Science Camp to be
held June 25 to July 17, 1972 at Pocahontas, West Virginia.
Nied and Stuart Jeffery, Jefferson, Wisconsin, were selected by the Wisconsin
Junior Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters from applicants throughout the
state. Nied's outstanding academic record and his participation in school and
community qualified him for the camp. He will be flown to Charleston, West
Virginia on June 23, 1972.
