Miss Roberta Broeren, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), Director of Early Childhood Development at the University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls, Iowa, is currently serving as the training director for the three-week Early Childhood Education Institute funded by the Educational Professional Development Act and sponsored by the University of Northern Iowa Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

The eight institute teams, consisting of Kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, county consultant and building administrator were chosen from school districts throughout the state.
