Weinfurtner, Judith Ann (Marriage – 1 November 1975)
Miss Judith Ann Weinfurtner carried a cascade bouquet of white mums and yellow
roses Saturday afternoon, November 1, as she became the bride of Gerald Allen
Kampin. The Rev. Lawrence Berger performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St.
Stephen’s Catholic Church, Chili.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Weinfurtner, Marshfield, and Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Kampin, Chili.
The bride appeared in an empire-waist gown of satin and Alencon lace fashioned
with a high neckline and bishop sleeves. Her lace-edged cathedral veil was
caught by a profile headband. She was presented in marriage by her father.
Miss Mary Weinfurtner, Chili, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Beth
Peppel, Chili, Miss Debra Weinfurtner, Marshfield, and Miss Penny Kampin, Chili.
Their gowns of spice polyester knit featured long sleeves with maribou edging
and princess A-line skirts. Picture hats and cascade arrangements of fall-hued
mums completed their costumes.
Attending the groom were Mike Griesbach, Chili, as bestman and Larry Genteman
and John Martin, Chili, and Danny Geldernick, Hewitt, as groomsmen. Mike
Mattmilter, Rice Lake, and Jeff Krasselt, Chili, served as ushers.
Miss Bonnie Meissner was the organist.
A reception was held at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield.
The bride is a 1969 graduate of Columbus High School, Marshfield. She is
employed at an automatic laundry. Her husband graduated from Marshfield Senior
High School in 1970 and is employed by a Chili construction firm.
The couple will live in Marshfield.
