Ockerl, Helen (5 April 1887 – 7 November 1975)
Funeral services were held Monday morning from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home
for Mrs. Helen Ockerl, 88, of Neillsville, who died Friday, November 7. Jerome
Berger of the Jehovah’s Witnesses officiated, and burial followed in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Ockerl was born April 5, 1887, in Yugoslavia. Her marriage to Henry Ockerl
took place in Neillsville. Mr. Ockerl died in 1970. Mrs. Ockerl was a member of
the Jehovah Witnesses.
Surviving are three children: Mrs. Ida Volovsek of Greenwood, Mrs. Paul (Rose)
Kuenkel and Harry Ockerl of Neillsville; and 10 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
