Stelzel, Douglas R. "Squeak" (28 APR 1954 – 7 MAR 2020)
Douglas R. (Squeak) Stelzel, age 65, of Dorchester passed away on Saturday,
March 7, 2020, at Marshfield Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester.
Doug was born April 28, 1954, the son of Roy and Louise (Zabrowski) Stelzel. He
graduated from Colby High School in 1972. He then attended North Central
Technical College in Wausau for welding.
Doug worked as a welder on farm equipment at Meyer’s Equipment Manufacturing
Corp. in Dorchester. He was an avid motorcycle rider, and loved building and
pulling tractors.
Doug is survived by his siblings: Eugene Stelzel, Kathleen (Edward) Ernst and
Brian (Cary) Stelzel; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron Warns; and sister,
Connie Cleveland.
