Fort Ord, California – Army Private David D. Rubisch, 19, son of Mrs. Ardis
Rubisch, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, recently completed an eight-week Wheel
Vehicle Mechanic course at the U.S. Army Training Center, Infantry, Fort Ord,
California.
During the course, he learned to perform organization maintenance and assist in
the repair of automotive vehicles and associated equipment. He became
familiarized with the functioning of automotive wheel vehicle components,
operating principles of internal combustion engines, fundamentals of fuel and
electrical systems, and the use of test equipment.
Pvt. Rubisch entered the Army in February of this year and completed basic
training at Fort Ord.
He is a 1971 graduate of Thorp High School.
