Mary Sue and Tom Ebben, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ebben, Wausau,
Wisconsin, and grandchildren of Mrs. Clara Ebben and Mr. Louis Badzinski, Thorp
(Clark Co., Wis.), are among the members of the Marching Cardinals of Newman
High School, Wausau, Wisconsin, who are Wisconsin’s official musical ambassadors
at the Olympic marching band tour and competition in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Bands from throughout the United States will compete on August 23rd and 24th,
1972 in three categories, based school enrollment. The three winning bands will
be honored with the Olympic Village in Munich, Germany on August 26, the opening
day of the 1972 Olympics.
