McCue, Vickie (5 AUG 1972)
St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp was the scene for the eleven a.m. marriage
ceremony for Vickie McCue and Dale Brunner on Saturday, August 5th, 1972.
Reverend Francis Brockman officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Evonne Truse, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr.
and Mrs. Hubert Brunner, Durand, Wisconsin.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Clyde Burrows of Lead, South
Dakota.
Miss Nancy Kowieski, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids
were Miss Rita Norwicki, Mrs. Murray Knecht, Miss Rose Ann Bauers and Miss
Jackie Sniegowski. Flower girl was the bride’s sister, Tammy McCue.
Dennis Brunner was best man, with Dean Brunner, Murray Knecht, David Brunner,
and Jeff Stoves as groomsmen. Ushers were Scot McCue, brother of the bride, and
Buddy Brunner, brother of the groom.
A dinner, reception and dance were held at the Quonset Hall, Thorp.
The bride attended WSU, Eau Claire, and is employed as a secretary with Wicks
Lumber Yard, and the groom also attended WSU, Eau Claire, and is employed by his
father.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Brunner will reside at 1212 ½ 1st Avenue, Eau Claire.
