Freimund, Danny G. (15 MAY 1951 – 23 MAR 2020)
Danny G. Freimund, age 68, of Milan, passed away surrounded by his loving family
on Monday, March 23,
2020, at Marshfield Medical Center.
A private funeral service will be held with immediate family at Bethlehem
Lutheran Church in Milan. Rev. Chad Schopp will preside.
Interment to follow at the church cemetery. A funeral celebration will be held
at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Colby is entrusted with
the arrangements.
Danny was born on May 15, 1951, the son of Darold and Lydia (Schultz) Freimund,
Sr. in Milan. He was united in marriage to Dorean Petznick on May 20, 1978 in
Athens. Danny worked for Land O’Lakes in Spencer for 43 years.
Danny was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan. He enjoyed hunting and
playing cards. Most importantly, Danny cherished his
family.
Danny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dorean; three children: Dawn (Travis)
Faber of Merrill, Diane and Dee Freimund, both of Milan; and two grandchildren:
Lydia and Kolton Faber. He is further survived by three brothers: Jim Freimund
of Milan, Dave (Ardis) Freimund of Spencer and Darold Freimund Jr. of Antigo; a
sister, Mary Jean Horn of Wausau; nieces and nephews; other relatives and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob; a sister-in-law,
Susie Freimund; and a niece, Renee Freimund.
