Yim, Chi Cha (18 SEP 1972)
SP 5 John J. Meske of Germany and Chi Cha Yim of Korea, were married at St.
Bernard’s Catholic Church on Monday, September 18th, 1972 at 4 p.m. The Reverend
Francis Brockman officiated.
Organist and soloist was Roger Truckey. The bride was given in marriage by the
groom’s godfather, Mr. Henry Michlig of Edgar.
The bride wore a floor length dress of white, accented with lace. A single large
white flower made up he bride’s bouquet.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Barb Meske, sister of the groom, also
wearing a floor length gown of moss green, who carried a bouquet of white roses
and mums.
John Plansky served as best man, while Jim Plansky ushered, both friends of the
groom.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s mother,
Mrs. Helen Meske, for relatives and friends attending.
