LOYAL--Patricia Frances Davel, 72, formerly of Loyal, died February 23, 1994, at
Chippewa Manor, Chippewa Falls.
Services will be Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal with the Rev.
Roman Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, Friday with a Parish Council of
Catholic Women rosary service and a prayer service.
She was born March 20, 1921, in Merrill, to the late Elmore and Clara (Everson)
Foster. She was a graduate of Merrill High School and attended business college
for one year. She was married to Paul Davel January 10, 1945, in Abilene, Texas,
and he died in April 1978.
After her education, she worked as an executive secretary at the Merchandise
Mart in Chicago during the war. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in
Texas, where he was stationed in the service, They then lived in Georgia and
settled in Loyal in 1946 after his discharge from the service. She continued to
reside in Loyal until she became a resident of Chippewa Manor in January 1991.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Parish Council of
Catholic Women. She was also a member of the Loyal Garden Club and served as
president of the Loyal Library Board for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Dana) Sills of Eau Claire and
Mrs. Dale _Paula) Maki of Blanchardville; two sons, Scott of Loyal and Peter of
Menomonee Fall; and five grandchildren.
