Degenhardt, Annette "Annie" (26 November 1970-21 September 1999)

LOYAL--Annette Degenhardt, 28, of W2844 Lovers Road, Loyal died September 21, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield after a long and courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.

Funeral services will be Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal with Father Roman Kaiser officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Hovendick, Ed Grant, Tom Degenhardt, Ron Rizzi, Dr. Brad Sullivan and Jerry Rosier.

Visitation will be held with a Prayer Service, today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal.

Kristin Cuddie, funeral director, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Annette Frances Degenhardt was born November 26, 1970, in Wausau, the daughter of Ray and Elaine (Nee Schultz) Degenhardt. She was baptized December 13, 1970, at St. Anthony's Church and confirmed on November 16, 1997. She was raised and educated in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1989. She then attended St. Joseph's School of Radiology for two years.

Annette enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies, her dogs, music, computers, making Cabbage Patch Doll clothing, photography and quilting. Annette and Dan Oelrich were engaged on June 4 of this year.

Annette will be sadly missed by her parents, Ray and Elaine Degenhardt of Loyal; her sister, Tabitha Salzman of Marshfield; her maternal grandparents, Clarence "Sonny" and Verna Schultz of Bemidji, Minnesota; and her fiance and special friend, Dan Oelrich of Spencer.

Annette was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her brother-in-law, Chris Salzman.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are appreciated.

Annette was proud to be an organ donor.
